C&J Utilities have been awarded for $143,550.00 Bid documents must be obtained from Alley, Williams, Carmen & King, Inc. to become an eligible bidder. Utilizing bid documents from another source may result in a disqualified bid. The proposed work includes the replacement of water infrastructure on East McKinley Street, between Hawfields Road and South 8th Street in Mebane, including the following items: East McKinley Street Waterline Replacement - Installation of approximately 800 LF of 6" Waterline - Reconnection of Existing Residential Water Services - Pavement Patching Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina, duly licensed accordingly for the appropriate section of Bid. A 5% Bid security must accompany each Bid. Each Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bids and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 120 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and to reject the bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of Owner to make an award to that Bidder. Owner also reserves the right to waive informalities.
