May not reflect the actual cost or budget of the project.*** The work will include the following items: Earthwork, clearing and grubbing, erosion control, site improvements including but not limited to curb and gutter, sidewalks, curb ramps, hand rails, storm sewer piping and drainage structures, rip rap inlet and outlet protections, underdrains, stone base, asphalt pavement, pavement markings, accessible parking signs, site amenities (tables, benches, trash receptacles and bike racks), site lighting, landscaping (plants, trees, mulch, sod, and grassing), timber guardrail and borders and installation of a Shelter/Restroom. Each Proposal shall be accompanied with a deposit of cash or CERTIFIED CHECK on some bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the Proposal, said check to be made payable to the City of Mebane. In lieu of the above cash or CERTIFIED CHECK, the bidder may execute a Bid Bond for the same amount. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
