Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Irving, Texas. Working plans call for the construction of a 11,000-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The owner has selected a Construction Manager. The City of Irving, Texas Capital Improvement Program Department invites Multi-Disciplinary Firms, and any other highly qualified professionals to submit Statements of Qualifications ("SOQs") to provide professional services as a Construction Manager Agent ("CMA") for the City of Irving for a new 11,000 SF Central Fire Station on the site of the existing, closed facility in the Heritage District Question Cutoff Date: 5/24/2022 05:00 PM (CT) Timely completion of the work within budget is of primary importance to the City. The City anticipates the Council to award a Contract to the selected CMAR by June 30, 2022. The preliminary budget set for this project by the City is $6.9 million and includes the Cost of the Work Plus the Fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price Bonding Requirements for Construction to be completed by an A- or better Surety Company licensed to do business in Texas attesting to the firm's bonding capacity to provide adequate performance, payment, and maintenance bonds for this project.
