The purpose of this request for proposal is to award a contract to the vendor(s) whom best meets the needs of Tacoma School District with furnishing Elevator maintenance & inspections to District elevators. The services to be performed by the contractor under this specification shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools and materials in performing all operations in connection with the examination, complete preventative maintenance, monitoring on emergency phones, all State Department of Labor & Industries mandated tests, and repair services of elevators in strict accordance with the requirements outlined herein. It is to be understood that the intent of this contract is to provide reliable, safe operation and maximum performance of District elevators at all times. During inspections if repairs are required, the process requires immediate notification to Tacoma School District of repair and cost with prevailing wage, so an approved purchase order can be issued.
