Renovation of a transportation facility in Danville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Secure Virginia-licensed contractor to provide expertise, supervision, qualified transmission and distribution construction personnel and equipment necessary for the rehabilitation of existing South Concrete Apron rehabilitation and associated connector taxiway pavements. The project includes pavement rubblization pavement milling, bituminous pavement, pre-paving preparation, pavement marking, and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete construction. 1.4 Bonds: 5% Bid bond, 100% Payment and Performance bonds 1.5 Time of Completion: Base Bid 45 calendar days, Alternate Bid 90 calendar days 1.6 Liquidated Damages: $2,000.00 per calendar day 1.7 Project Manager for the City: Marc Adelman, Director of Transportation 1.8 Code: All work performed shall conform to the Virginia Uniform Building Code. 1.9 Retainage: In making payments, there shall be retained five percent (5%) of the estimated amount until final completion and acceptance of the contract work. The award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, with consideration given to completion time. B.
