Renovation of a detention facility in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

A) Description This bid is for the replacement (removal and installation) of thirty six (36) total new locksets at the Taylor County Juvenile Facility located at 889 South 25th 1) Furnish and Install new locks for Juvenile Facility: a) Removal of thirty six (36) total lock assemblies and all related parts. b) Provide and install twenty six (26) model RRB 3522-300 or equivalent new locks. Locks keyed one side. c) Provide and install six (6) RRB 3526-300 or equivalent new locks. Locks keyed both sides. d) Provide and install three (3) SS 10120AM-2 locks or equivalent. e) Provide and install one (1) SS 10120AM-2 or equivalent retrofit lock. f) Configure and connect wiring in order for locks to function with current control system panel. Wiring diagrams are to be provided by vendor. Include O & M Manuals g) All thirty six locks shall include new cylinders. h) Existing locks will be left with the Facility to keep for spare parts inventory. i) Vendor will provide new strikes along with ten (10) cut Medeco Keys and eight (8) cut ASSA keys for mogul locks. j) Handing and Key Codes will need to be confirmed with final submittals. k) Finish painting should not be included. l) The contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, and labor necessary to complete the job. m) The contractor shall provide all engineering, drafting, and CAD work required to complete the scope of work. n) All work to be performed during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8AM5PM) For Juvenile Facility Lock Replacement Award will be made on a lump sum basis. Purchase will be on a cash basis. Taylor County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
