The liquid chlorine shall conform to American Water Works Association Standards B301-18: Liquid Chlorine, with the following additional requirements: 1. An affidavit of compliance (Chemical Analysis) is required. 2. Bid price shall be based on Section 4 Physical, Chemical, Impurities, and requirements of AWWA B301-18 for Liquid Chlorine. 3. The City of Abilene reserves the right to accept any bid or to refuse any and all bids. 4. Bid price shall be stipulated as PRICE PER TON OF LIQUID CHLORINE. Deliveries to be FOB: Grimes Water Treatment Plant, 209 E Hwy 80, Abilene, TX 79601 Northeast Water Treatment Plant, 4210 East Lake Rd., Abilene, TX 79601 Hargesheimer Water Treatment Plant, 1594 US Hwy 83 - 84, Tuscola, TX 79562 Ft. Phantom Raw Water Disinfection Facility, 6902 Cherokee Circle, Abilene, TX 79601 The loads may be split between destinations if requested by the City at no additional charge. Deliveries will be between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, unless specified by the purchaser at the time of order. The carrier shall furnish own self-unloading equipment. Deliveries shall be within five (5) days from date order is placed by City. Product must conform to National Sanitation Foundation /American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) standard 60 for direct additives. These standards must be obtained by certification of the product by an organization accredited by ANSI, and copy of same provided to the City of Abilene with the bid.
