Tender documents can be obtained on the public electronic tendering site . Only bids sealed, completed and prepared with the official documents of the municipality available on electronic tendering site will be considered. The Municipality of Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu does not undertake to accept either the lowest tender or any of the tenders received and declines all responsibility with regard to one or other of the tenderers in the event of rejection of all submissions. The contract is awarded by decision of the council of the Municipality, at its sole discretion, and the municipality cannot be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its council. As a guarantee, the tenders must be accompanied by a guarantee by check certified to the order of the Municipality, or by a guarantee of tender valid for 45 days from the day of the opening of the tenders emitted by a company of insurance or a financial institution authorized to stand surety under the laws in force. The amount must represent ten percent (10%) of the total value of the contract. If the bond is a certified cheque, the latter will be returned as soon as possible to those whose tender has not been accepted.
