Renovation of an educational facility in Brantford, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Projects 1088633 and 1088634 were initiated at W Ross McDonald School (WRMS) to replace heat exchangers for RBI boilers in the sports complex (B17473) and repair the electrical vent fan causing the boiler not to start in the auditorium (B10532). After initiation it came to light that up to 14-16 recently installed boilers on the campus failed. Temporary boilers were installed to get the campus through winter 2022, however a permanent solution is required to be installed by fall 2023. This prequalification is for a Mechanical Contractor to implement the permanent solution. It is anticipated that tender documents will be issued by June 3, 2022, construction will commence in in July 2022 and will be completed no later than September 30, 2022.
