Project includes installation per design the solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, racking, ballast, inverters, and electrical connective equipment at the following locations: Valparaiso Airport, 3800 Redbow Drive, Valparaiso, IN 46383 Valparaiso Flint Lake Pump Station, 1000 Wesley, Valparaiso, IN 46383 Valparaiso Waste Water Treatment, 1251 Joliet Road, Valparaiso, IN 46385 Valparaiso City Hall, 166 Lincolnway, Valparaiso, IN 46383 Valparaiso Maintenance Building - 1855 Joliet Road, Valparaiso, IN 46385 Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received, and satisfactory bid security. A certified or cashier's check payable to Valparaiso City Utilities or a bid bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them by the City upon selection of successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount. Bidders must be experienced in the construction of the type of facilities to be built under the Contract for which a bid is submitted. In determining the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, the Valparaiso City Utility Board of Directors will consider the Total Base Bid and all other relevant facts which may be legally considered. The Utility Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Board deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
