For the design and construction of the project known as Spring Gulch Playground Renovation. The project consists of design and installation of new playground equipment, surfacing material, and miscellaneous construction items. Project Description and Location Spring Gulch Park is located at 10380 Holly Hock Ct, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129. The existing playground at Spring Gulch will be removed to a rough grade. New playground equipment shall be installed to current ASTM and CPSC standards For questions regarding this project, please contact the Project Manager, Taylor Irelan at tirelan@highlandsranch.org. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work for this project will consist of the following: - Contractor will design, install, and furnish new playground equipment surfacing material and miscellaneous construction items. - Owner is responsible for demolition and rough grading of existing playground area. - Owner will provide the drainage system working and in place prior to any work to be performed. The contractor may re-route the drain for design if needed and is responsible for any repair if damaged during construction. - Owner will provide a temporary fence for the duration of the project. - Owner will provide EWF and sand surfacing if necessary. - Contractor is responsible for relocating water line(s) if required by the design. - Keep construction areas clean and safe to the public at all times - Work to be done M-F 7:00AM to 5:00PM, unless approved by the District's project manager The project site has limitation concerning access and the proximity of construction equipment and materials to be installed. The staging area for the contractor will be allowed inside fenced area as designated by the Districts Representative. The contractor will obtain a no-cost Temporary Access Permit from the owner.
