For further information, contact: NES PROCUREMENT 1214 CHURCH ST., RM 305 NASHVILLE, TN 37246 615-747-3821 This project consists of a preconstruction phase and a construction phase with separate notices to proceed for each phase. During the preconstruction phase, the CMAR and their design team will collaborate with NES on the design, constructability, cost and schedule of the project, and develop a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposal to construct the project. Upon NES's acceptance of the GMP, NES will issue a contract to the CMAR for the construction phase without additional public competition. If NES and the CMAR do not agree upon a GMP, NES will not award the construction phase of the project and will instead issue another solicitation for that phase. Provide firestop systems consisting of a material, or combination of materials installed to retain the integrity of fire-rated construction by maintaining an effective barrier against the spread of flame, smoke, and/or hot gases through penetrations, openings, construction joints or at perimeter fire containment in or adjacent to fire-rated barriers in accordance with requirements of local Codes.
