The resulting contract shall not require the services of an engineer or an architect. The objective to be met through the award of this RFP is to enter (a) five year contract with the selected service provider to achieve the purposes listed above. The proposed contract will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) for the proposed scope. Metro does not guarantee to purchase any minimum or maximum amount of the requested services; these shall be purchased on an as-needed basis. The purpose is to find a qualified company to provide services identified in this RFP in the most cost-effective, professional and efficient way to METRO. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for completing all maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and parts, both scheduled and non-scheduled during the contract period at current and any future METRO solar installation sites including on-site inspection, assessment, addressing identified issues, complete any necessary adjustment, repair, or replacement of damaged or failed components CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the supervision, coordination, materials, equipment (including lifting equipment and scaffolds), and supplies necessary to complete services described herein. CONTRACTOR will have and maintain, through the contract period, a current: Tennessee Contractor Electrical License (contractor license with a CE license classification); and North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Certification for operating, commissioning, and maintaining PV systems. CONTRACTOR will be responsible for securing and maintaining all necessary certifications, licenses, permits, and authorizations (and for the costs thereof) required to perform required services.
