Sealed bids are invited for the construction of Replace Humanities Rotunda Windows at Virginia Western Community College, Project Code # 260-B1260-063 (M21VW116), located in Roanoke, Virginia. The project is generally described as the removal and replacement of glazing along an existing rotunda within the Humanities Building. The rotunda's exterior wall is brick clad, round, and two stories high with eight large window openings. The current storefront system is to be removed and replaced with a new curtain wall system. Sealed bids will be received at Virginia Community College System, Attention: Ms. Sibyl Roberts, 300 Arboretum Place, Suite 200, Richmond, Virginia 23236, Telephone (804) 819-4918. PLEASE NOTE: For shipping/mailing, use Suite 390; for hand delivery, use Suite 200. The deadline for submitting bids is 2:00 P.M. sharp, as determined by the Bid Officer, June 16, 2022. The bids will be opened publicly and read aloud beginning at 2:00 P.M., on June 17, 2022, at the same location. A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond is required (form CO-10.2) and Contract Security is required for any bid regardless of bid amount. The bidder or offeror shall be a registered vendor in eVA.
