Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only and in order to be considered an official bidder contractors must obtain plans and specifications from Goodwyn Mills & Cawood Inc. Removal and replacement of low slope roofing systems, eave flashings, deteriorated roof decking, installation of new roof decking as required, installation of underlayment and self-adhering flashings, metal flashing, SBS roofing system as indicated on the drawings and all associated work required to provide a complete, functioning, weatherproof and warrantable project Sixty (60) calendar days are allowed for the construction of the project. All bids must be on blank forms provided in the Specifications and submitted in its entirety. The cost of and return of additional sets of Specifications shall be in accordance with Section 39-2-3 in the code of Alabama 1975. No specifications will be issued to contractors later than Twenty-Four (24) hours prior to the time indicated above for receiving bids. A cashier's check drawn on an Alabama bank or a Bidder's Bond, payable to Mobile County, Alabama, for an amount not less than Five Percent (5%) of the amount bid, but in no event, more than Ten Thousand ($10,000) Dollars, shall be filed with the proposal, the Bidder's Bond being prepared on the form specified and signed by a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Alabama. A Performance Bond in the form and terms approved by the County in an amount not less than the contract price will be required at the signing of the contract. A labor and materials bond in form and terms approved by the County in an amount not less than the contract price, insuring payment for all labor and materials, shall also be required at the signing of the contract The right is reserved to reject any and/or all bids, waive informalities, and furnish any item of material or work to change the amount of said Contract
