Base Bid includes, but is not limited to the following: - Remove and dispose of all existing fences, posts, wires, etc., and replacing it with 5' rail height wood fences and gates as specified in the project manual and drawings. (North field) - Remove and dispose of all vegetation along the fence line not marked to remain. New fence is to be aligned approximately 1-2' away from existing fence path so that any remaining vegetation remains in the existing pasture. - Existing entry gate remote opening system with solar panel system is to be removed in a manner to be reused if desired by the facility. Coordinate storage of gate opening system with Project Manager. - Any changes to the existing fence layout are to be noted in drawings and subject to approval by the project manager prior to installation. - Both fence elevations on either side of the driveway are to remain parallel to each other for the length of the driveway and pastures. - Demolition and installation of all fences and gates are to be coordinated with the project manager and facility manager to allow adjustments for the livestock during the construction period. MPD Grandbay Mounted Unit Upgrades - Fencing at 6160 Gaston Loop Road West, Grand Bay, Alabama. Bidders must insert sealed bids into a receptacle marked "City of Mobile Bids" located in the elevator lobby outside the office of the City Clerk's Office, 9th Floor South Tower, Government Plaza, 205 Government Street, Mobile, Alabama. Bids will be publicly opened and read in the Atrium Lobby of Government Plaza. Additional bidding instructions are detailed in the Project Manual.
