The Stallings Gateway project will include the fabrication and installation of an approximately 25 foot by 25 foot two-sided, internally illuminated gateway sign. Two additional standalone signs feature the Town's wordmark and are illuminated as well. Conduit was installed under Stallings Road during the recent construction of the roundabout; allowing for the contractor to bring water and electric to the sign. The Town of Stallings will accept sealed bids for the construction of the Stallings Gateway Project located at the roundabout of Atrium Health Union West on Stallings Rd and Healing Way in Stallings, North Carolina 28104. Requests for information shall utilize the pre-bid question form included in the project manual and be directed to the Landscape Architect via email at alex@dbdplanning.com. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the bid payable to Town of Stallings. The Town of Stallings reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Vendors submitting bids are encouraged to solicit Minority Business Enterprise / Women's Business Enterprise Participation in fulfilling their contract. The bid should indicate MBE/WBE areas of involvement. The successful bidder shall comply with all Federal and State requirements concerning fair employment and treatment of all employees, without regard or discrimination by reason of race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin or physical handicap.
