The Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), Division of Acquisitions is issuing a Pre-solicitation Notice announcement to seek potential Indian Small Business Enterprise (ISBEE) sources and Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) who would be interested in Playground Equipment and Installation at the Bureau of Indian Education BIE - Nenahnezad Community School located in Fruitland, New Mexico. This notice is to identify businesses that fall into the following available set aside categories, ISBEE businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 238990 and the small business size standard $16.50. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with this Pre-solicitation announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. It is requested that only those that meet the definition of these categories submit a response to this notice. The contract scope of work consists of the following discipline of the contractor shall furnish material, supplies, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to The contractor shall purchase and install playground equipment at Nenahnezad Community School. The playground equipment will be Landscape Structures items listed in the attached sheets or equal. Equipment will be installed per manufacturer drawings and specifications. Contractor shall provide drawings, submittals, and all other pertinent information to properly size and install playground equipment system. o Engineering Wood Fiber Safety Surfacing at approx. 160 cu/yds The vendor shall be responsible for the following:
o Removal and disposal of existing pipes
o Mobilizations Cost, such as unloading and storage of materials
o Site preparation and orientation per drawings
o Removal of old playground equipment as well as disposal.
o Will be responsible to prepare playground site for new playground equipment; including but not limited to drainage, compaction, excavation and any other preparation required
o Construction of new playground equipment shall be performed by the Factory Certified Installer and also have a certified safety inspector on site at all times
o Installation of new play system per manufacturer's guidelines and specifications
o Provide a written audit report, including a drop test by a certified playground safety inspector when construction is completed
o Clean up of all materials on site when construction is completed A more detailed statement of work will be provided with solicitation package to all eligible vendors.
