Description: The Town of Bluffton is soliciting competitive sealed bids from experienced and qualified Offerors to provide walkway construction at the Pritchard Street Pocket Park, located at 132 Pritchard Street, Bluffton, South Carolina. Questions and Inquiries Offerors are required to submit questions no later than: 5:00 pm, Monday May 23, 2022 The Town of Bluffton is soliciting competitive sealed bids from experienced and qualified Offerors to provide walkway construction at the Pritchard Street Pocket Park, located at 132 Pritchard Street, Bluffton, South Carolina. The general scope of services includes the following: 1. Earthwork and Site Preparation as needed to prepare area for the walkway and paving construction 2. Supply and install walkway and paving areas including base material, tabby embedded, plantation concrete paver borders and plantation mix or paver infill (see plan). 3. Fine grade and backfill to feather grades back to existing upon completion of walkways and paving areas. 4. Provide "Add Alternate" to substitute tabby embedded concrete pavers in place of plantation mix walkway. Offerors must be able to provide all of the documents described in the instructions for bid, meet the minimum qualifications described herein, and agree to comply with applicable specifications, standards, laws, regulations, other Federal, State or local requirements to be considered a responsive and responsible Offeror. The Town reserves the right to waive any irregularities, informalities or technicalities and may, at its discretion, request a new solicitation. The Town may cancel this solicitation in part or in its entirety if it is in the Town's best interest to do so. No bonds are required for this opportunity.
