Renovation of a water / sewer project in Alorton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of June 20, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** All work shall be constructed under the provisions of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridges Construction prepared by the Department of Transportation of the State of Illinois, adopted January 1, 2022 and the Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois, July 2009, Sixth Edition. The only exception to these standards, are all references to measurement and payment. Bidder's must also complete forms marked with an *. Bidder's subcontractor must provide information for the forms marked with two ** All documents must be submitted with the Bid. The project consists of removal and replacement of lift station pumps, control panel, valves, flow meter, pressure gauge, guide bars, float switches, lift cables, power pole, disconnect switches, power and alarm cables, discharge pipe, and wetwell lid and access hatch at the Pocket Road and Missouri Avenue lift station. Bidders are required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 as amended. Awarded contract will be federally funded in part with a grant by HUD. Not less than (15%) of the total contract amount must be expended with a Minority Business Enterprise. Contact the St. Clair County IGD, (618.825.3211) for questions on MBE participation.
