Renovation of an educational facility in Aiea, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a post-secondary education facility.

Bid Date extended from 5/30/22. Furnish materials, labor, and equipment necessary to provide and install a temporary 40' x 60' shade covering for the courtyard at building D. I. The new covering shall be Kunkel Works GSS-Triple. (See Attached) a. SCN 60 (61.61) Connected Covers x 3 1. Depth: 58' - 6" Width: 39' - 8" Height: 9'-2" - 8'-2" 2. Color: BD - Deep Brown 3. Roof Panels: Corrugated Steel with Skylights b. Concrete Footing 1. There shall to be 18 concrete footings. (See attached for details) 2. The new concrete footings shall be doweled to the existing concrete slab with two W' x 12" dowels on each side (8 per footing). 3. Concrete for footings shall be a 3000psi concrete mix. II. Substitutions a. Bidders may submit substitution requests before the end of the question end date. All substitution requests must be accompanied by full product details showing that it is equal to or better than the specified product. b. Substitution requests must also include footing details. c. Any approved substitution will be posted in an addendum for all bidders to use. All work shall be per manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and shall be performed to industry standards. Contractor must follow all current local city & county codes. Along with the Manufacturer's standard material warranty, the contractor shall provide a one-year written warranty for defects in materials and workmanship on this project. This project is tentatively scheduled to commence upon award of a purchase order and must be completed by December 30, 2022. To be eligible to submit a bid, the bidder must possess a valid State of Hawaii contractor's license classification B - General Building.
