The Housing Authority of the City of Richmond (HACR) invites bids from Contractors, Vendors, and Companies for Access Control and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) in Wayne County, Indiana. Project Overview and Scope of Services: 1. 81 S. 14 th ST. (Merle Henderson Apartments) Access Control and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) the Authority is seeking must have the following elements: The Contractor will provide and install Access control and IDS systems on specified doors in the facility as listed in Appendix A. The system will consist of Proximity Readers, an Intrusion Detection System (IDS), ADA-accessible, and egress hardware at pre-determined locations on the exterior and interior as listed in Appendix A. Systems will be hard-wired and networked to a computer provided by the Contractor, and remotely assessable by the duty officers. Contractor will provide equipment and materials necessary to integrate these systems to those computer(s) located in the management office and police Officers' workstation wirelessly. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material required to mount, provide power to, and associated hardware and associated replacement door hardware as needed. Contractor will utilize the nearest appropriate power branch circuit having adequate capacity to provide the required service. Under no circumstances is Contractor to utilize any lighting branch circuit or switch-leg for power. All wiring shall be enclosed conduit, properly installed with compression fittings.Prior to the installation, a walk-thru with the facility management team and the Contractor will be conducted to identify and verify specific locations to install and/or replace hardware and the corresponding security system. Proximity readers, IDS and ADA-accessible buttons will be located on doors as indicated in Appendix A. Contractor will survey existing systems to insure they are on the approved list and compatible with the new designs. If not, the Contractor will replace the existing system. Technical Support throughout the installation process until the product is completely installed and fully operational. In addition to this, whether included or separate, we need the cost for key fob / badge chips - (approximately 250). Your SOW should be detailed oriented, clear and outline all fees for providing this service. A major factor will also be the level of service your organization provides. HACR is looking to build a relationship and not participate in something that is only transactional. This project as proposed is to be a complete turn-key project fully contracted under the General Contractor. HACR wants this project installed and completed no later and prior to July 29, 2022.
