Bidders shall perform playground repair and installation, and synthetic playground surface installation services as set forth in this Contract which may include without limitation, playground parts, accessories, equipment, repair or installation of playground equipment, repair and installation of various types of synthetic playground surface materials, artificial turf and park amenities. Bidders shall provide all technical and professional services, including labor, equipment, test equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide the Services as directed and determined by County staff. ** Technical questions regarding the contract documents should be submitted through website. All questions must be received no later than Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Engineer's Estimated Cost: $1,200,000 to $1,200,000 The estimated amount of this contract is: The Contra Costa County Public Works Department (PWD) intends to award at least one (1), but not more than two (2) contracts, total of contracts not to exceed $1,200,000 to the responsible bidder(s). Each contract will have a term of three (3) years with the option of two (2) one-year extensions, and will be used as needed with no minimum amount that has to be spent. Contra Costa County is home to more than 1,200 miles of hiking trails within dozens of parks spread across the county. The PWD operates and maintains a variety of parks throughout the County.
