Site work for a water / sewer project in Irondequoit, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists principally of the installation of approximately 2,000 lineal feet of 8-inch diameter PVC sanitary sewer and approximately 1,500 lineal feet of sewer cured in place piping to replace the existing sanitary sewers in kind including sanitary manholes, laterals, cleanouts appurtenances, and site work. The successful bidder(s) must self-perform at a minimum 50% of the contracted work. Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished and shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The Town of Irondequoit is exempt under New York State Tax law, and therefore, no sales tax on the cost of materials incorporated into the project shall be included in the bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and labor and material bonds in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
