Polk County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, requests the submittal of bids from vendors that are interested in providing mowing services as described herein. Provide the necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision to provide mowing and maintenance services of outfalls and lots Questions regarding this bid should be in writing and should reference the above Bid. Submit all questions to Ken Brush, Procurement Contracts Manager, via email at kenbrush@polk-county.net or via fax at (863) 534-6789 by 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022. The period of performance for this bid is from the date of award through July 1, 2023 ("termination Date"). This bid will automatically renew, extending the Termination Date, for two (2) one (1) year periods, unless otherwise terminated in accordance with General Information Items #13 and #14 If a bond is required, it will be called out in the Special Conditions section of the bid. The vendor shall furnish a performance and payment bond, in an amount equal to the amount awarded, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all the vendor's obligations under the bid documents. The Procurement Director reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any minor irregularities in the bids received, whichever would be in the best interest of the County.
