Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of July 5, 2022, the project is pending award. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. The Project includes the following Work: Demolition of existing park elements, grading of existing park locations for construction of concrete sidewalk, asphalt multi use path, pickleball courts, and playground equipment. Other park site improvements include a fishing pier, concrete sidewalk and benches, shelter, minor storm sewer pipe and appurtenances, temporary erosion control, and site restoration of all park improvement sites. Additional multi use trail improvements, playground equipment, and lighting and electrical work will be considered with Bid Alternatives. For further requirements regarding Bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and Contract Award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. The Village of Cottage Grove reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
