Q & A deadline: Jun 03, 2022 5:00:00 PM EDT The City intends to use the Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) submitted in response to this RFQ to rank the Proposers according to the most qualified and to then initiate contract negotiations with the top ranked firm(s). The qualifications and selection of the firm(s) shall be in accordance with s. 287.055, Florida Statutes. The City expects to engage a qualified architect, or architectural firm, with the expertise to design exceptional recreational facilities, both in terms of aesthetic form and practical function and ability to perform planning and recreational design services and to assist in finalizing and implementing improvements to Allen Park at 1770 NE 12nd St North Miami Beach. The final project design should exemplify the value of innovative design; balance aesthetics, cost, and constructability; balance the requirements of being environmentally responsible and beautiful; and communicate the facility's role as a public asset for the community. The City of North Miami Beach is a first-tier suburb in northeastern Miami-Dade County, which is in the southeast part of Florida.
