Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Greenville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Prequalification of bidders is required on this project as indicated in Specification Publication 408/2020, Section 102.01. A bid security shall accompany each bid in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bid security shall be in the form of cash, a bid bond with corporate surety or a certified check (with no exceptions) payable to County of Mercer drawn on a bank authorized to do business in Pennsylvania. Further, the successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds and proof of insurance. The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof to waive any informality.
