Demolition and site work for a residential development in Palatine, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The Palatine Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and also reserves the right to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder. Locations- 206 E. Palatine Road, Palatine, IL 60067 20 N. Middleton Avenue, Palatine, IL 60067 The Work to be performed under this Contract shall be commenced July 11, 2022, and, subject to authorized adjustments, substantial Completion shall be achieved not later than September 9, 2022. a. Demolition will include: i. Removing all structures and auxiliary structures from the properties including basements, footings, and foundations. ii. Remove designated asphalt, concrete and/or aggregate stone driveways iii. Disconnect sewer and water for main building and cap at the main. 1. Sewer main is located underneath Palatine Road. (See 01_Property Plats Demos Limits Cut Sheets) iv. Disconnect natural gas line and cap at the main. v. Furnish and install temporary 6 ft. chain link fence to adequately secure the entire site until completed. vi. Install tree protection and silt fence where required. vii. Obtain all necessary permits. viii. All debris will be disposed of in accordance with all state and local laws. ix. All work shall be in accordance with the plans and as herein specified. x. Overhead electrical drop and meter have been disconnected and removed by Comm Ed b. Restoration will include: 1. 206 E Palatine Road, Palatine, IL, 60067. This work shall consist of demolishing all designated structures. i. Backfilling all excavations with clean soil, use topsoil for the upper 6-inch layer ii. seed and blanket all disturbed areas. iii. Repair Palatine Road in accordance with IDOT road specifications. 20 N. Middleton, Palatine, IL, 60067.- i. Removing all structures and auxiliary structures from the properties including basements, footings, and foundations. ii. Remove designated concrete and/or aggregate stone walkways. 1. Asphalt driveway to remain in place. iii. Remove septic tank from property. iv. Remove furnace oil tank in basement v. Remove all underground piping up to and cap well. vi. Disconnect natural gas line and cap at the main. vii. Furnish and install temporary 6 ft. chain link fence to adequately secure the entire site until completed. viii. Install tree protection and silt fence where required. ix. Obtain all necessary permits. x. All debris will be disposed of in accordance with all state and local laws. II. All work shall be in accordance with the plans and as herein specified. III. Electrical drop and meter have been disconnected and removed by Comm Ed. IV. Asbestos inspection/testing/abatement work has been completed. (See 03_20 N Middleton Environmental document) Restoration- Backfilling all excavations with clean soil, use topsoil for the upper 6-inch layer ii. Seed and blanket all disturbed areas.
