Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lanesborough, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and municipal facility.
The project consists of removal and replacement of all exterior door locks with keyless entry locks for the following buildings: Town Hall (5 doors), Highway Department (2 doors), and Fire Station (5 doors). Contractor shall conform to manufacturer recommended installation requirements. Contractor is responsible for any permitting required. All work needs to be completed within 30 business days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated Cost $50,000 A. Work includes: 1. Removing and properly disposing of old key system to a keyless system. The Town would need approximatley100 fobs or similar mechanism initially to provide to Town employees for entry to the building(s). The system should have the ability to grant access to staff by the type of building and to restrict access as necessary. The Contractor will provide the software to the Town and provide necessary training on the use of the system. Any panel updates to existing system will also need to be completed.
