Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of July 21,2022, project is cancelled. Project is no longer needed. Compliance with the City of Winston-Salems M/WBE program is required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders contained in the specifications. The M/WBE subcontracting goals for this project are 5% MBE, 5% WBE and must be met separately. The low bidder who fails to meet said goals must submit Affidavit D and their full Good Faith Effort documentation within 24 hours. Likewise, an Affidavit C is required of the apparent low bidder who meets the M/WBE goals. Project award is anticipated on June 21 with start of construction in mid-July 2022 The purpose of this conference is to explain the City of WinstonSalems Minority and Women Business Enterprise Program requirements and scope of work for this project. Staff will be available to answer technical questions concerning the work and regarding the citys M/WBE program. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The End of Question Period is 5:00 pm, May 26, 2022.
