Paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in San Dimas, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project consists of roadway milling, asphalt concrete paving and striping and pavement markings. This project also includes removal and replacement of PCC curb and gutter, ADA corner ramps, sidewalk, cross gutter, longitudinal gutter and traffic loop replacement. Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security referred to in the contract documents and by a list of proposed subcontractors. Evidence of insurance, a performance bond, and a labor and materials bond as specified in the contract documents will be required prior to execution of the contract. Pursuant to the Labor Code of the State of California, the Director of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of wages and employer payments for health and welfare, vacation, pension and similar purposes applicable to the work to be done. This rate and scale are on file with the Department of Public Works, and copies will be made available to any interested party on request. The contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and the subcontractors under him, must pay not less than these rates for this area to all workers employed in the execution of the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding and to make awards in the interest of the City. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the opening of bids.
