The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified Contractors to establish a contract through competitive negotiations with one or more qualified contractors to provide professional design and buildout services for an existing metal shell building, located at 823 N. County). In accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract, the Design-Buildout
Contractor ("Contractor") shall perform the work of this Project for Southside Behavioral Health
("SBH") as described.
This contract will be utilized to provide design and buildout services for the SBH facility "SOUTH
HILL ADULT & EMERGENCY/CRISIS SERVICES CENTER", a preexisting metal shell building,
consisting of approximately 8,000 square feet of space (see EXHIBIT #1 for identified needs for
the space). Except for any specific requirements which will be communicated during the site
visit, SBH is flexible regarding the design and layout of the devised spaces as shown in the
exhibit, and is open to other viable design plans which will achieve the required operational
purpose.
The project is a design and buildout of adult clinical and emergency services program delivery
spaces, inclusive of staff and client parking; external access points; common areas; rest rooms;
staff offices; and mental health treatment spaces. The Contractor for the proposed project will design and build spaces in accordance with service delivery needs as identified by SBH. Prospective Contractors
