For more details on the scope of work, consult the plans attached to this estimate. The Municipality of the Township of Havelock is requesting tenders for the work described above. They must be presented in an envelope for this purpose and the tenderer must be clearly identified. The specifications as well as the submission form can be consulted and/or obtained from the office of the electronic tendering system from May 20, 2022 , according to the methods and costs indicated on the site . To be considered, any submission must be accompanied by: a bid bond or a certified check equal to 10% of the amount of the bid, made payable to the Municipality of the Township of Havelock, and valid for a period of sixty (60) days following the opening submissions; a letter of intent from a company authorized to stand surety, undertaking to provide a performance bond equivalent to 50% of the contract amount, as well as a guarantee of payment of wages, materials and labor equivalent to 50% of the contract amount. Only bonds issued by companies holding an insurer's license in Canada will be accepted under the terms of the call for tenders document. Work can begin from June 13, 2022 and must be completed by July 22, 2022 at the latest.
