The purpose of this solicitation is to set up pricing for an agency contract for the University of Georgia, hereafter known as "Owner," for hot mix asphalt. All hot mix asphalt must comply with the requirements as herein specified. Quantity and quality for products delivered will be periodically checked by the University of Georgia. Upon 30 day written notice, the Owner may cancel this contract canceled for failure to meet standards or for convenience, without penalty. The term of this contract shall run July 1 ,2022 through June 30, 2023 (UGA FY23). The contract shall be renewed at the Owner's discretion not more than four (4) additional one (1)- year terms upon the University of Georgia's sole discretion. Orders will be placed by Facilities Management Division Personnel on an as-needed basis against a Purchase order from the University of Georgia Procurement Office. For orders placed against the purchase order, payment terms are net 30 days. There is no minimum and maximum order quantity guarantee during the length of this contract. The University of Georgia will only pay for what has been requested or scheduled by authorized persons. The awarded vendor will be allowed to modify pricing once annually at the time of renewal only. The bid pricing and renewal price increases shall take into consideration any/all delivery, surcharge fees and product price increases. Price adjustments shall not exceed 3% per contract year and justification must accompany any price increase request.
