Kneehill County is inviting proposals for the renovation of the exterior of the Redland Grader Shop located southwest of Drumheller, Alberta by an experienced and qualified company. The desired date for completion of the reconstruction, under the contract, is to be no later than December 31, 2022. The shop is currently functional but is ageing and requires renovations or replacement due to the development of multiple leaks owing to the age of the building. The corrosion, damage and degradation of the exterior walls are causing water egress and have led to structural damage to the facility. The facility was a fertilizer processing facility location and this has led to further the heavy corrosion of the building exterior. All fertilizer equipment and product have been removed. Some of the current wall penetrations and flashing are not properly installed and have been patched or repaired over the decades.
