Renovation of a municipal facility in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to secure the services of a roofing contractor to perform miscellaneous skilled roofing installation, replacement, and repair work for Planning and Public Works. Possible work locations include but are not limited to: Chambers Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, Central Maintenance Facility, outlaying Collection Pump Stations, Tacoma Narrows Airport, Thun Field Airport, and other selected Pierce County facilities on an as needed and emergency basis. Pierce County is unable to determine the precise schedule or amount of work that may be performed. The work will be assigned by Pierce County by work order number, addressing scope of work and required time of completion. Contractors must have the capability to serve the County by providing material, labor and all necessary equipment to perform a variety of projects. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 5/31/2022 1:00 PM All questions must be submitted within the Pierce County ProcureWare software, under the Clarifications Tab not later than 1:00 PM, May 31, 2022. Bidders must be registered in the ProcureWare software in order to submit questions. The contract period of performance will be 730 Calendar Days (2 years) commencing from the date of the Notice to Proceed, or until the amount of the contract has been exhausted, whichever occurs first.
