Fabrication of galvanized HSS railing for the existing 28 m composite steel girder / concrete deck bridge(s) for 100 Mile House District and delivery to km 25 on the Clinton-Loon Lake FSR. Approximately 85 km from Cache Creek . (-121-14-2.3, 51-12-51.1) Prices for the following bid items shall be provided in the bidder's bid response: i. Fabrication Bid Item; ii. Delivery Bid Item. Bids will be evaluated based on the total bid price. The Fabrication Bid Item includes: Design as specified in this document; Manufacture and assembly as specified in this document; Supply of all materials specified in this document; Scheduling of Ministry in-plant Quality Assurance (QA) inspections and successfully passing these QA inspections as described in this document; Supply of all documentation as described in this document. The Delivery Bid Item includes: Storage of materials as described in this document; Transportation of all materials as described in this document. Upon request from the Ministry a bidder or successful bidder must supply, within 4 business days of the request, a schedule of works which conforms to the required delivery dates. The schedule must include but is not necessarily limited to: material receipt dates, fabrication commencement date, a minimum of 3 critical intermediate fabrication milestone dates, and a fabrication completion date. The schedule shall also include timelines for submissions of designs, for Ministry approval. The schedule shall provide a minimum of 5 business days for Ministry review of designs. Failure to provide a satisfactory schedule may result in rejection of the bid, or termination of the contract, at the Ministry's sole discretion. The Ministry shall be the sole and final judge of the sufficiency of the schedule provided.
