Renovation of a water / sewer project in Schaumburg, Illinois. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The village owns and maintains 41 pumps and motors at seven water pumping stations. This project would replace these pumps and motors over five fiscal years. Locations: Station 2 (2626 W Small Drive), Station 19 (2205 Primrose Lane), Station 20 (360 W Schaumburg Road), Station 21 (1701 Thoreau Drive), & Station 22 (1406 Plum Grove Road). This project plans to replace the pumps and motors over five fiscal years using the following strategy: - FY25/26 Station 2: Pumps 1, 2; 2 Motors; 2 VFDs - FY27/28 Station 21: Pumps 2, 3; 2 Motors; 1 VFD - FY26/27 Station 22: Pumps 1, 2; 2 Motors; 2 VFDs - FY28/29 Add VFDs to: Station 12 (Pump 3) Station 20 (Pump 3) Station 19 (Pump 3) This project is included in the Village of Schaumburg's FY 2025-2030 Budget CIP. As of June 3, 2025, per owner, construction to begin this year. Design team identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
