Any prospective Proposer desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitations, scope of work, etc., must request it in writing to the Purchasing Section by no later than JUNE 1, 2022 @ 12:00 p.m. PST, in order to allow a reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of their bids. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. Contract, shall furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%), of the contract price as security for the faithful performance of the Contract, and a separate surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as security for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials in connection with the Contract. The term of this contract shall be from the date of award by the District Council, until the end of 2022-2023 fiscal year (June 30, 2023); with the option to extend the contract up to four (4) fiscal years (July 1 through June 30), subject to satisfactory performance as determined by the Public Works/Water Director or his designee. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals or in the proposal process
