Site work for a water / sewer project in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of approximately 300 L.F. of 8" water transmission main replacement and all required appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after bid opening. Implementation of P.L. 113-76, Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014 applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. Pre-Bid Date: N/A The owner would like work to begin in Summer 2022. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
