The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting qualifications/proposals from qualified consultants to provide expertise to complete design, permitting, and outreach for the 45th Ave SW culvert on Fauntleroy Creek, and develop a public works contract package. The consultant team will also provide engineering support services during the public works contract advertisement and award period as well as during the construction phase. The estimated value of the contract is $2,500,000, with the option to amend up to a maximum amount of $3,500,000. This contract is expected to be funded in part by the Federal Highway Administration (USDOT FHWA) and Washington State Recreation & Conservation Office (RCO). Neither the USDOT FHWA or the Washington State RCO nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to any contract or any subcontract resulting from this solicitation. This contract is expected to support the project through design and construction including the first year of landscape establishment. The final completion date of all phases of work conducted under this contract is estimated to be the end of 2027.
