As of April 3, 2024, an engineer has been selected for the project and is in the design phase. Bidding is estimated to take place in QTR 4 of 2024 and construction is estimated for QTR 1 of 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Gaston County Public Works Department is soliciting Statements of Qualifications for professional engineering services associated with ARPA Funded High Shoals, Hardin, Dallas - WasteWater Interconnect Project. Interested firms may request instructions, project scope requirements, selection process information and qualification content requirements from Cary Rodriguez, Project Coordinator at Cary.Rodriguez@gastongov.com. Gaston County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part and to waive such informalities as deemed to be in the County's best interest. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
