Bidders are required to be prequalified for this Project. The Work consists of the following: 1. Construction of new classroom addition to main school building and additional interior renovations. 2. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following categories a. Selective demolition as may be required for modifications or installation of new work, including shoring and bracing of existing structure; b. New concrete paving and walks; c. New concrete work, including flatwork, footings and foundations; d. New unit masonry and lintels where required; e. Structural steel, steel deck, steel joists and metal fabrication work; f. Carpentry, sheathing work, and interior architectural woodwork; g. Waterproofing, building insulation, new EPDM single-ply roofing, repairs to existing roofing and new trim and roof accessories; h. Hollow metal doors and frames, door hardware and keying, glazed aluminum storefront and curtain wall, aluminum entry systems and associated glazing; i. Metal-framed gypsum board partitions, suspended ceilings, floor and wall finishes and painting; j. Toilet partitions, toilet accessories and interior signage; k. New fire-suppression sprinkler system; l. New barrier-free lifting device; m. New HVAC equipment, building environmental controls and management system; n. New electrical distribution system and new interior and exterior lighting fixtures and exit signs; o. New data system, new building security and access systems, new fire detection and alarm system; p. Coordination between work of related trades as indicated or as may be required; q.
