Renovation of a mixed-use development in Grand Haven, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and office development.
Cable, fiber optic w/interconnecting components and accessor. All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner(s) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the School District or the Superintendent of the School District. The Board of Education shall not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized familial relationship disclosure statement. A pre-bid meeting will not be held. The district will respond to all relevant requests for information (RFI) by May 31, 2022. RFI's should be sent to Cecil Hammond by email only at hammondc@ghaps.org. RFI's must be submitted by May 27, 2022. Vendors wanting to receive the RFI responses must email Cecil Hammond with an email address prior to May 31, 2022. Evaluation of proposals and award will be at a later date. All bids shall be accompanied by Affidavit of Compliance - Iran Economic Sanctions Act in compliance with "Iran linked business" within the meaning of the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, Michigan Public Act No. 517 of 2012. The Board of Education shall not accept a bid that does not include the Affidavit of Compliance. G. Applicable Michigan use and sales tax do not apply to this District purchase. Bidder will accept District credit card as payment method. Any fee associated with credit card use should be waived by the Bidder. H. Grand Haven Area Public Schools' Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject all or any portion of a bid, and is not bound to accept the low bid. A bid may be rejected, if not accompanied by any data required by the Bidding Documents, or which is in any way incomplete or irregular. Grand Haven Area Public Schools shall have the right to waive informalities or irregularities in a bid received, and to accept a bid which, in the judgment of Grand Haven Area Public Schools, is in the best interests of Grand Haven Area Public Schools. Proposals shall remain firm for one-hundred eighty (180) days from the date of Bid Opening. Please submit three (3) references, including at least two Michigan Schools that have done work with the bidder in the past five (5) years. J. Successful bidder shall make good, within 30 days, any defects in materials or workmanship which may develop during a one (1) year period. K. Bidders should utilize the bidding form provided. If a bidder would like an electronic copy of the bid submission form, the bidder should email Cecil Hammond at hammondc@ghaps.org by May 27, 2022. Pricing provided must include all costs for the ESC Server Room Fiber Rack update, shipping and handling, and any other charges. M. Bidders must bid on the entire ESC Server Room Fiber Rack update. The District anticipates purchasing all items in the base bid section and will make purchases from the alternates as the budget allows. Any additional discount for large bundled purchases should be clearly explained by the bidder with the bid submission.
