Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Gravette, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

THE PROJECT includes, but is not limited to the following general items of work: The construction will include approximately 4477 linear feet of 8' concrete sidewalk, retaining walls, and storm pipe installation. The project will also include demolition of ex. Sidewalk and ex. Fence. Construction of an 8' wide concrete sidewalk and ramps, approximately storm drainage improvements. Under Act 150 of 1965, Arkansas Statutes, Contractor is not required to be licensed by the State Licensing Board of Contractors to submit a bid. However, evidence of licensure shall be provided to the Owner prior to signing the contract. Pursuant to Arkansas Code annotated 22-9-203, the Owner encourages all qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. The Owner also encourages general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order 11246, as amended. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. The City of Gravette, Arkansas hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws, and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. BIDDING SECURITY in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be furnished. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities in the bidding forms. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
