Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project is the replacement of two water crossings at Maxwell Municipal Golf Course in Abilene, Texas and the repair of guard rails on three other crossings. Bid Option #1 - The creek crossings at #8 and #9 green shall be replaced with concrete low water crossings and the existing crossings removed. Guard rails at #10 tee, #10 green and #13 green shall be replaced with new channel type guard rails. Bid Option #2 - The creek crossing at #8 and #9 green shall be replaced with bridge structures and the existing crossings removed. Guard rails at #10 tee, #10 green and #13 green shall be replaced with new channel type guard rails. Performance and Payment Bond information is found in the Instructions to Bidders. All bids must comply with specifications. All bids must remain open for 60 days after bid opening. The City will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder who provides the best value to the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any formalities and technicalities.
