Site work for a road / highway in Dunedin, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work generally consists of the following: Remove and replace a portion of the existing boardwalk to enable access to install the new sheet piling. Installation of a new vinyl sheet piling weir to replace the existing earth weir. Removal of the earth weir and install a new skimmer/baffle. Provide erosion control protection as required, regrade disturbed soil and sod. The time allotted for this project is 90 days for substantial completion. All work performed shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents. It is the bidder s responsibility to check the final documents and addendum prior to bid submittal. In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidder s name and address and be accepted by the Purchasing Office by the time and date specified above. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or a cashier s check or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. The City of Dunedin, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, to waive any irregularities or informalities, to re-advertise and to award the Contract in its best interest. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with instructions in the INVITATION may be disqualified.
