Location: Kent County These Improvements Are More Specifically Shown on the Location Map(S) of the Attached Plans. Description: the Improvements Consist of Furnishing All Labor and Materials for This Project to Provide a Connection/extension of the Proposed West Camden Bypass at the Intersection With Us13, It Will Then Head Northeast on a New Alignment to a Proposed Roundabout on Sr10. This Proposed Roundabout Will Provide Access for the New Roadway Alignment, Existing Sr10 and Existing Rising Sun Road. The New Alignment Will Then Continue Northeast to the Existing Intersection of Us13 & Old North Road. The New Alignment Will Also Provide Connections to the Local Roadway Network Within the Project Limits, Will Meet Local Road Design Standards and Will Provide Multi-modal Accommodations. Follow Other Incidental Construction in Accordance With the Location, Notes and Details Shown on the Plans, and as Directed by the Engineer. Completion Time: All Work on This Contract Must Be Complete Within 390 Calendar Days. Extensions of Contract Time Due to Weather Are Specified in the Standard Specifications Section 108.7f, Weather Days. It is Estimated a Notice to Proceed is Issued Such That Work Starts on or About May 27, 2024. Question Deadline 03/11/2024 at 2:00 PM ET. Questions regarding this project are to be e-mailed to the above address no less than six business days prior to the bid opening date in order to receive a posted response. Each proposal must be accompanied by a deposit of either surety bond or security for a sum equal to at least 10% of the amount bid. PERFORMANCE-BASED RATING SYSTEM - 29 Del.C. $6962 (c)(12)(a) requires DelDOT to include a performance-based rating system for contractors.
