The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA), pursuant to Florida Statutes, Chapter 287.055, Consultants Competitive Negotiations Act, is seeking a Professional Engineering Consulting firm to enter into a contract for professional and design services for the building modifications at Rockland Construction Yard. The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA) desires to retain a licensed, qualified Consultant to provide the scope of services described below. This Qualifications Package provides guidelines for the submission of letters of interest and Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) in response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Requests for clarification will be received until seven (7) days prior to the submittal date. It is recommended that consulting firms that are requested to make a presentation conduct a site inspection prior to presentations to the FKAA selection committee. Qualification will be based on the following criteria: Years of experience providing professional architectural services on similar projects Examples of similar projects for which the firm or consultant has provided professional services in the last 5 years, including details on current projects and a customer reference list Experience of specific staff members and engineers who will be involved in the design, including experience with FKAA projects, as applicable FKAA reserves the right to modify all or any portion of Qualifications Package that it deems acceptable, reject any and all Qualifications Package, and to waive minor irregularities in the evaluation process.
